Delete Your Account
Delete in the app
- Open Profile
- Open Settings
- Tap Delete account
- Type your username exactly as shown
- Confirm deletion
What happens when you delete
- Your FinderHelper account access is removed immediately
- Your active items are automatically unlisted
- Your profile is anonymized in shared history as Deleted Helper
- Some shared records may remain for safety, fraud prevention, and conversation history
Before you confirm: The app asks you to type your username exactly before deletion is processed. This helps prevent accidental deletion by the signed-in user.
Can't access the app?
If you cannot access the app, email privacy@finderhelper.com and include:
- Your FinderHelper username
- The email address tied to your account
- A short note saying you want your account deleted
We may ask for additional verification before processing a deletion request submitted outside the app.
